A little bit of blue . . .

The dreaded lurgy descended last weekend, so all this week I've been laying low, doped up with Degoran, nursing an achey body and a chesty cough . . . and really not feeling up to much of anything.  I lost my voice too but this morning it's back and I think I've turned a corner and am hopefully over the worst.

But you know there's only so much lying-on-the-sofa-feeling-miserable that one can do, so in short bursts I managed to finish the crocheted cushion cover I was working on.

I'm quite chuffed that I managed to master work out how to do the 'flower-in-the-square' pattern and am really happy with how it looks in-situ.  It's like chair & cushion were just meant for each other !

The pattern is Camellia Blanket from the lovely "Cute & Easy Crochet" by Nicki Trench.

I'd love to do a whole blanket like this, maybe I'll add that to my project list for next winter  : - )

Have a happy day,
xoxo

  15. I hope you are feeling better dear Gilly! I'm taking it slow here today too, feeling quite dull with this flu. Your cushion is lovely, and it does match the chair perfectly! I agree, an entire blanket done like this would be utterly gorgeous!
    Take care, xx
